Position Overview:

Mary's Woods, a premier senior living community, is seeking a dedicated and flexible Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Float to provide compassionate care across all four of our Health Services neighborhoods. This role ensures the general well-being of residents by offering physical and emotional support, adapting to various neighborhood dynamics as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Upholds resident rights and individual care plans.
  • Provides daily care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Assists with mobility and promotes resident independence.
  • Documents and reports changes in resident status.
  • Prepares residents for activities and appointments.
  • Maintains infection control procedures and uses PPE as necessary.
  • Supports Resident Care Coordinator and Nurse Manager.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Active Oregon CNA license with 2 years of experience.
  • Experience in memory care, assisted living, and RCF settings.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and Food Handlers cards (within 90 days of hire).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

  • Exposure to potential hazards requiring safety precautions.
  • Flexibility to work changing schedules and varying neighborhood assignments.

Compensation:

  • Starting at $24.00/hour
