The Holgate Community  is seeking an RN Director of Nursing to join our leadership team.  The Holgate Community is divided into 3 separate buildings, Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Skilled Nursing.  This position will lead our Skilled Nursing group, of up to 90 residents.  We are a not for profit organization owned by The Odd Fellows.  We are located on a beautiful campus, across from a park, easy to access and commute.  We pride ourselves on the excellent care we provide to our patients/residents and blessed with a wonderful team of care providers.  We are looking for an excellent person to join our leadership team.

Required Qualifications

• A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home, or other related health care facility.  Skilled Nursing experience is highly desirable.
• Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
• Current CPR certification.

This individual will provide daily leadership for LPNs, CNAs, and RNs, in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern these types of facilities.  Oversee member assessments and care plans.  Implement systems to provide excellent care to our patients/residents and staff.  Monitor the charting programs, medication mnanagement and treatment procedures.
