Mary's Woods is looking for a Dietary Cook with professional experience, passion and creativity. This is a great opportunity for a Dietary Cook with experience in preparing both hot and cold food for service for our assisted living neighborhoods. The skill set we are looking for includes general knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety, specialty dietary requirements to include modified texture diet, therapeutic diets, allergens, reduced sodium and sugar. The Dietary Cook must be able to work in a busy & high production open kitchen and strive to bring culinary excellence to our senior living community.
Mary's Woods is a non-profit senior living community founded in 2001. We offer independent living, assisted living, memory care and residential care in a park-like setting on 40 acres in Lake Oswego. The starting wage depends on experience, certification and education.
Schedule: Friday to Tuesday (11:00 am - 7:00 pm Sunday to Tuesday and 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Friday/Saturday)
This is a full-time position that will include working weekends and holidays.
